Creating Crochet Fabric

Dora:

I just purchased your book and spent last Saturday absorbed in it.  It clarified so much about drape, and the choices to be made with particular yarns and hook size.  The book, while packed with information, is still a very easy read.  Thanks for taking the time to share your insight and experience!

Also, I love the website.  I love the history of needlework, and your articles are tops.  Your passion for history and crochet are evident in your patterns as well.

Thanks for all of your work.  It is truly a labor of love.

One of your many fans,

Linda

Happy happy happy joy joy

Your words make me feel so good Linda.  Sometimes it's hard to know how people are responding to one's work, and hearing this makes me feel it's worthwhile.  Having been a performer for many years, I was used to the gratification of applause!  Now I see how lucky performers are compared to say writers or other creative types who don't get that immediate feedback.

I'm very glad to know the book helped round out your crochet education. Thanks Linda!

Busy gal!

Hi Dora, now that I'm done drooling over the pics of your designs (and plotting to fit some book purchases into the shoestring budget), I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed browsing your wonderful pages.

I have managed to work my way through your archive of articles and interviews over the past few days - started at the bottom of page 3 and worked my way backwards so I could read them in the order produced.  I enjoyed every article and interview, and came away with an abundance of new knowledge and (especially) a better understanding of crochet.  You have created a real treasure trove on this site, and I plan to become a frequent visitor!  Many many thanks for your hard work, I truly appreciate it all.

Thanks!

Your comment made my day!  Thank you so much!!

You are rockin' and rollin' girl.  I am so happy for you and your creative progress.  You go girl.
