Antonina's Crochet Flowers
That's Antonina in the center! We are honored to feature the very first pattern in English by this outstanding Ukrainian designer, who has sparked so much interest with her modern version of Irish Crochet. This tutorial teaches you HOW TO MAKE THE PICOT-TIPPED FLOWERS SHOWN ABOVE, beginning with a 3-petal flower and going all the way up to 9-petal flowers. Of course, they can be made in any colors you like.
Any yarn and gauge you like.
What do you do with them once they're done? See how Antonina has used them in her fabulous garments! Close up photos above include this flower among others. Then, check out the fabulous article in this issue by Suzan Thompson on how to make floral fabric for more ideas.

Antonina's crochet
I just have to say that these garments are absolutely gorgeous! I love Irish crochet and these flowers are stunning. I would love to know how to make these garments. Any chance of a book or pattern I could purchase?
