Hello Everyone! I hope you had a great summer and are looking ahead to the new season ahead.

I went back to Central Asia this summer, to the land of Kyrgyzstan. An amazing place, with fantastic people and a rich tradition of crafts. You can see my favorite photos of the trip if you click the link at the bottom of this page.

Naturally I’m busy designing, and also getting ready for upcoming classes at the Knit & Crochet Show in Concord, NC, Oct 3 -6. This is the first time in years I’m teaching there and I’m very excited! If you’ve never gone to a CGOA conference, it is so worth it; you’ll meet many like-minded crocheters, enjoy the great cameraderie, and have the chance to take classes with great teachers.

These are the classes I will be teaching:

F213C – Perfect Crochet Hats

S110C – Flawless Crochet Fabric

S210C – The Well-Fitting Crochet Sweater

N107C – Sizing and Grading Crochet Garments
To register: The Knit &Crochet Show – Registration www.knitandcrochetshow.com

One of my classes is about crochet hats. I’ve been thinking about slouchiness. Which style do you like best? Do you like more or less slouch?

The Tunisian DVD I wrote about in the spring has been selling like gangbusters – woohoo! Fans have been writing to say it really helped them master some of the trickier stitches – that makes me very happy! If you’re interested, it’s available at the Interweave store in several formats. This link will get you to my page at the Interweave Store.

Lots of nice patterns there too! And, if you aren’t yet confident in reading crochet symbols, you can purchase my webinar on the topic at the same link.

This year I’m planning to add lots of new patterns to the store here at Crochet Insider. Let me know if there are any particular items you want to see with a Dora twist!

Enjoy the pics, and remember, they get bigger and look better when you click on them! Talk to me in the comments section, thanks folks!!
