In 2010 Dora went on a journey to the remote area of the Pamirs, the eastern mountainous region of Tajikistan, to learn more about the mysterious jurabs — colorful socks — made by the women there. In the house of one of the artisans a professional musician appeared who sang with great power, playing accordion, accompanied by two boy drummers, and a small concert ensued. Dora was enraptured, and captured it all on film. Expertly edited by Simon Surowicz.
